Extra downloads are $2.99 each on paid plans; standard generation costs 10 credits per two songs. The 2026 policy change that matters: the download cap (20/month Pro, 60/month Premier) took effect September 3, 2026 — high-volume publishers will hit the wall on downloads long before credits. Latest models are v6 / v6-wild (Premier/Pro). Honest limits: generation quality is inconsistent — pronunciation and consistency vary between generations, and there are reported cases of credits deducted for failed or incomplete generations (support disputes are a sore spot). Free tier is locked to the older v4.5-all model. And fully-AI works still can't be registered as sole-human compositions under US copyright law. Who should pay? Creators who need actual files — Suno if you need downloads, full stop.
